The last two years have seen a severe disruption in our business due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Thankfully, the situation is controlled as of now and we are seeing a sense of normalcy. However Inflationary pressures are still having an impact on demand and our Industry continues to face the challenges of excess supply, poor capacity utilization and low profitability.
Our Government is striving to push our Economy on a high growth path with a target of 5 Trillion USD by 2026-27. Various initiatives have been taken by the Government towards this Goal. A fast growing Economy will no doubt provide a much needed fillip to our Industry.
The most burning and relevant issue facing us today is "What is the future of our Industry?".
